Definitions

• Web-based - 100% online course - students do not meet in a traditional classroom setting during the semester.
  
• Web-centric - Courses require at least one class meeting, but web materials will be used to substitute for at least half of the regularly scheduled class meetings. Extensive use of the web will be required.
  
• Web-assisted - Students will be required to have access to the Internet for at least some of the following activities: to secure class syllabus, projects, assignments, lecture notes, links to relevant web sites, audio-visual demonstrations, and use of discussion board, chat, on-line assessment, and exchange of files.
