What is the Master of Arts in English Plan II (non-Thesis) Program?

This program is geared to meet the needs of non-resident populations and offers breadth of training in English studies for professional advancement in the public schools or community colleges. Courses address both theory and practice and presume that students are interested in the teaching of English studies as a career. Elective offerings in Scientific and Technical Communication also allow students to develop competencies appropriate for employment in business and industry.
